Actofive @ DT Swiss Craft Bike Days

At the end of November DT Swiss hosted their now third annual Craft Bike Days, an invite-only bike show now located in the beautiful Lenkwerk building Bielefeld, Germany. The two-day bike show is geared towards knowledge talks and networking with other builders, manufacturers, and retailers. Actofive was again invited to the show and decided to bring their new I-Train XC/DC bike, this time in it’s most “trail” costume with a mullet setup and their new Signature X crankset with DH-certification.

Actofive is a client of Parallel for copywriting and content work, but also marketing work on a case-by-case basis. Parallel assisted Actofive at the Craft Bike Days and will continue working with Actofive with the further promotion of the new frame and crank models.

Sour Bicycles XC Full Suspension Prototype

Co-Production of a new full suspension platform between Sour Bicycles and Actofive Cycles, both local to Dresden, Germany.

Parallel has helped organise and build a “skunk works” project to house special projects outside the normal production frames. This project carries the same naming convention as many famous special-vehicles departments in racing and motorsport, Sour Racing Development, or SRD. Maintaining the dry-wit of Sour Bicyles owner Chris, SRD is a double entendre, namely it is the same accronym found on municipal trash collection services, Stadtreinigung Dresden, or again, SRD.

The re-launch was limited to 20 units which all sold within days of launch. For the launch a press pack was shipped to several related websites including The Radavist and Bikepacking.com.
